I think everyone should get a journal and do what I call the occasional “purging”. Let it all out on paper and then read it back to yourself. I see large amounts of individuals online publicly, especially this week, uttering disturbing content suggesting an inability to regulate reactive emotions. This is a practice you can do solo. Maybe bring to your spiritual teacher, therapist or friend. When you read back what you’ve written, look at that struggling or upset person with kind eyes and a warm ♡ offering. Try to remember that emotions come and go like clouds which cover the always blue sky. You just gotta wait for them to pass and hopefully learn how to navigate them better for the future. I hope you’ll see the value of not letting those impulses play out online but being able to look deeply and start a journey of self-discovery ♡
